La Division Interaméricaine

La Division Inter-Américaine (Inter-American Division, IAD) est composée du Mexique, des Caraïbes, de l'Amérique centrale et des cinq pays les plus au nord de l'Amérique du Sud. Cette Division compte plus de 3,5 millions de membres, ce qui en fait la région de l’Eglise la plus peuplée.

Cette Division comprend environ 11 000 églises adventistes dans une région qui recense près de 280 millions d’habitants.

L’IAD compte 13 universités adventistes. Elle gère également 13 hôpitaux importants à Belize, Curaçao, République dominicaine, Guyana, Haïti, Honduras, Jamaïque, Porto Rico, Trinidad, Venezuela et au Mexique, qui en comprend trois.

La Division regroupe également d’autres organisations importantes telles que le Séminaire Théologique Adventiste Interaméricain, qui offre une éducation religieuse de niveau universitaire à des pasteurs et des enseignants sur le campus de 10 universités et séminaires adventistes affiliés. Le Service de Santé Adventiste de l’IAD regroupe tous les établissements de santé adventistes de la Division.

Dans un effort de partager l'évangile dans toute la région, l’IAD contrôle 9 centres média, 7 stations de radio et de nombreuses radios par Internet.
