In an unprecedented turn of events, King Nebuchadnezzar reversed his decision to execute his advisors.
The ruler changed his mind after an intervention by Palace-Aid student, Daniel, who had become officially known by his Babylonian name, Belteshazzar. This came as a real upset since the seasoned advisors and magicians had been at a loss to help the king.
Daniel claimed to have been shown King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream by his God, YAHWEH.
He relayed the contents of the dream and its interpretation to the king, saving himself and his colleagues from death.
