Mission Pioneer Mubita
Imagine trying to light 29 campfires. By the time the last fire is burning, the first is smoldering ashes. The task can be discouraging. Likewise it would be easy for Global Mission pioneer Mubita in Zambia to feel discouraged. He often must rekindle the fires of faith among the 29 small groups he has started, because there is no support to keep the small groups going while he works in another area.

Often Mubita’s converts must wait months for a pastor to baptize them. Mubita faces many other challenges, including supernatural witchcraft where he has seen people disappear into thin air or walk through walls. But he is not afraid or discouraged. Mubita and his family fight the spiritual darkness with prayer. They have faith that God will take care of them as Mubita checks his fires.
