Let's Talk - Oakwood
Since becoming world church president in 1999, Pastor Jan Paulsen has looked for ways to improve communication between church administration and Adventist young people. “I recognize that too many of our young people feel a distance from the church,” he says. “They feel as if they don't have a voice, they don't feel that they have been heard, they don't feel that they have been understood.”

letstalk2In 2003, Pastor Paulsen took part in Let’s Talk--an unscripted conversation with young people that was broadcast live and unedited by satellite around the world. The response was immediate. Young people welcomed the chance to challenge the world church president on issues they felt deeply about.

On March 15, Oakwood College will host the sixth live "Let's Talk" broadcast, this time on the Huntsville, Alabama college campus in the United States. The broadcast will include questions from 50 young professionals as well as undergraduate and graduate Oakwood College students.

Let’s Talk Oakwood will be broadcast live on the Hope Channel and Internet on March 15. Check the Let’s Talk and Hope Channel web sites for broadcast information.
