Gilvane Ludgero
Gilvane Ludgero, left, works in the favalas of Rio de Janeiro. The favalas are the low-income slums that are home to millions of people that live around Rio. Here Gilvane has been working for the past two years to spread the message of a new life in Jesus. Because of his hard work, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, he has been able to set up a small church that now has over 50 members. Seventh-day Adventist mission offerings this year will go to support Gilvane's work in favalas that have never heard the message of God's love and redemption.
