When Harold Aiaile and his family moved to the village of Tatare on the island of Malaita in the Solomon Islands, he brought a revolution. He introduced windows to the village. The houses in Tatare were built low to the ground with no windows because the villagers were afraid of the spirits of their dead ancestors. Aiaile and his wife began to teach about health and cleanliness and about God, who takes away fear of the dead. And Harold built a house high above the ground, with windows. Before long the whole village took to the new style of housing and believed in Harold's God. Twenty-one other villages on Malaita now want the same change in their communities and 21 churches are being built.
